Convention Project Chemical Safety

On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Project on Chemical Safety of the GIZ has been supporting international chemicals management since 1997. Based in Bonn, Germany, the project offers its support in the forms of providing expert consultancy for the project’s focal points. These points include capacity building and the clean-up of sites in close cooperation with the private sector, as well as the guidelines for chemicals management for enterprises and tailor-made trainings for private and governmental stakeholders in developing countries and countries with emerging economies.
